     I am always a big fan of Van Gogh and fascinated by those strokes in either paintings or the sketches he did. I found it hard to depict every single line he used for toning and shadowing while making out the shapes of everything. For this exercise particularly, the upper part of his sketch has those tree trucks intertwined with each other. It is not only the shapes but also the shadowing. I found that part really hard to imitate well.
