    I used a combination of pencils (mostly 2B and 4B), ink wash and highlighter (a white liquid pen and a white soft pastel) I was not sure if I should use the pencil to carve out the different tones and then apply ink wash or vice versa. I also noticed some markings even within the shades. I used the tone paper for that as well.
