These images are for Week 7, the textures of nature. We will focus on graphite pencil, since that is the most challenging medium for this issue, but charcoal and, of course, ink wash are appropriate for copying.

3 - 5 Rembrandt
This is a more completed version of the drawing I started during class, the copy of the Manet painting in the style of Courbet's pencil sketch. I found I had to make some arbitrary decisions just to get the form of it intelligible.
